We are excited for your arrival! 

Join the pre-departure chat to learn the key components of a successful transition from your home country to Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹. This live online event will also connect you with key CIE and Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ staff that will assist you in your journey as a new international student at the BEACH.

You will have access to pre-departure information in the CIE CANVAS Course. Contact cie-student@csulb.edu if you do not receive access to the CIE CANVAS course after your acceptance to Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ is confirmed.

Basic Predeparture Checklist:

• F-1 I-20 document
• Valid Passport
• Valid F-1 visa
• Personal medications
• Secured housing accommodations
• Secure a phone . Some alternatives include:

• Prepare season appropriate clothing, shoes, undergarments
• Personal computer
