Shelley Takahashi

Shelley Takahashi is a polymath with experience as a designer, business strategist and educator. She received her Master’s in Business Administration from the Pepperdine Graziadio Business School ten years after her Bachelor's of Science in Industrial Design from Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹. Shelley completed a Global Business Management Seminar at Universidad Austral, Buenos Aires, Argentina and CTE Advanced Training classes at the University of California, San Diego. She has won several CES Design Innovation awards, working in Design Management, and is a former Chair for the Los Angeles chapter of the Industrial Designers Society of America.

Education has always been a passion for her. In 2008, Shelley started teaching design part-time. She continues work in the field of design while influencing the next generation of designers. She currently teaches students in the Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ Industrial Design and Human Experience Design Interactions programs as well as MBA students for the Á½ÐÔÉ«ÎçÒ¹ Institute for Innovation and Entrepreneurship.

Professionally, she works for a small furniture company. Her current obsession is Scandinavian Design.
